The last day of being 21
You may be tired of seeing the pictures of the packages, so I will update.
*Saturday: went to movie: Glory Road, was very good, I recommed it.
*Sunday: Church was good, went with HUT, bought tickets for a conference at the civic center on communication for me, Chris, Kelsey, and Jeff. And, drum roll........da da da da......I studied. Yep, for the first time this year, for like two hours, wow, that study lounge sure missed me.
*Monday: worked 9-11am, no one came in, duh, it's the first day, so I sat and did homework-like things. What is homework-like you ask, well if I told you, I'd have to kill you. hahaha, sorry, I just wanted to say that. muahah. jk. Went to class 11-1, met with clinical teacher till about 2, talked to Chris and Momma, Megan came over, went to Target with her. Went to kickboxing, hard, very hard. Went to Culv's with Casey. Came home, wrote this blog.
*I wore my retainers last night
*Tomorrow is my birthday!!!
*I had soup for lunch
*My mom had me 22 years ago, almost!
*I am going to apply for my first professional job this week!
*I like cake, so I get some tomorrow from CWMP (Meggie Lou)
*Chris is coming tomorrow and we're a goin' ta Chula!
*Momma is having a par-tay for me on Sunday!
*I like my heart post-it notes
*I like my new mouse
*When I was young I thought a computer mouse was really the animal mouse (I had never seen one before)
*I wanna go to the ocean, today!
*My bum hurts, as well as my legs, stomach, arms, back, calves, and so forth due to kickboxing!
*I read some Potter last night
*I vacuumed yesterday
*And that's all folks! Love ya!
Me, in my best frumpy outfit!

Yippee!!!
Yay! Today when I checked my mail I had a package slip. When I went to get my package, there were two! One from Mom and one from Cara. Cara's was a b-day present, a necklace and bracelet that she made and pink slippers! Mom got me all sorts of things, like tic-tacs, gum, a magnetic frame, cool roll on chap stick, a much needed comb, a face mask, lotion, playing cards, little baby files you can put in your purse, and probably more I'm not remembering. Thank you Mom and Cara for being so thoughtful, you made my day!!!!! I love you guys!

I lOvE gOd
I don't know Shane and Shane, but I know exactly how it feels to believe these words, just as they do. I'm glad God gave some people the talent to write songs that are exactly what I would say! This is my favorite song....
When I think about the Lord
How he saved me
How he raised me
How he filled me with the holy ghost
How he healed me to the uttermost
When I think about the Lord
How he picked me up
Turned me around
How he set my feet on solid ground
Makes me wanna shout,
Hallelujah!
Thank you Jesus
Lord you're worthy,
of all the glory
and all the all honor
and all the praise.
Thank you Jesus...
Giant Colons, B-ball Games, and Shoelaces
Well, I have a lot of days to update on, so I'll be brief, I think.
On Friday I went to a fun b-ball game, which tied WSU up for #1 in the conference! Whoo! On Saturday woke up and went to the mall in LaCrosse with some nursing girls to crawl through a giant sized colon. They have this huge colon there that you can walk through and learn about different colon disorders for colon awareness month. Our teacher offered us 10 points of extra credit to go see it. So, obviously, we wouldn't pass that up! I'll put a picture of it on the bottom. Later we went to another b-ball game, which we won again. Sunday I went to church with Heather and later on my uncle Rick took my cuzzin Megan and I out for supper! We went to Green Mill and got spinach dip and pizza, yum yum yum. Thanks Rick! Then I hung out with Megan at St. Mary's University for quite a while. It was nice to hang out with my cuzzin! She has a very nice and spacious room all to herself! On Monday, I had two classes, then Chris suprised me by coming to visit during a few spare hours to had. He took me out to Jefferson's and it was F-U-N. We had been planning for a while on him coming Tuesday, which he still did, but it was nice to see him two days in a row. Later I went to a WSU gymnastics meet. The girls are all really good so it's fun for me to watch. They did really well! Whoo hoo, go gymnastics! On Tuesday, which was technically yesterday, but I'm still awake (it's 1:00am on Wed) Chris was here from 11am to 12pm. It's very amazing how fast 13 hours goes when Chris is here. It felt like 2 hours, seriously. We hung out here a lot, watched Happy Gilmore, worked on a book/workbook we're going through, went to Culver's and Erbs, went to Rogan's shoes (for shoe laces) and to Target! Fun fun, I miss him already! (don't make gagging noises, you'd miss him too!) I also talked to Kelsey today, she called me! What a lovely girl she is (pretty birddddddddd). Now I'm sitting here, writitng emails and blogs and waiting for Chris to call to tell me he got home safe! I get to sleep in tomorrow, yay!
Oh, also, I got placed for my Capstone (which is my huge clinical for this semester in which I am by myself, with no other students or teachers) I get to go to St. Mary's in Rochester on a vascular surgery floor! I'm excited! Well, I think I was pretty brief there. I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday! Talk to ya lata'. Love, Brianna
Nurgul, Mel, Me, and Sooi, with the end of the giant colon!

WY-NO-NA
Hello all. I am back in Winona, just thought I'd let you know! I miss my family and my fiance, but I am doing well here thus far and am very blessed to live with two great friends so I don't get lonely (that's you HUT and C-DAWG, in case you were confused)! Tonight Heather, Casey, and I went to Culver's, it's our thang' that we do. Our usual register guy was not there, but we got over it. Then we went to Wally and the girls were so kind as to let me get groceries and help me carry them up to the apartment. Heather and Casey were very "special" at the store. Casey gave Heather rides on the cart and they were all over the place causing a ruckus, silly silly. Then Heather and I watched "In a New York Minute", it's a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie, heehee. Now I'm about to lie in bed and watch Heather's Gilmore Girls DVD special features.
Love you all!!! Love, Brianna
Here is a special picture of Heather and I tonight using her mud mask from her great something or other uncle who did make up for movie stars. I guess that means I'll look like a movie star after using it. cool.

The Life and Times of a Slug
I am a slug. I've been a slug all day. Here is what I did.
Woke up at 9:10am
Watched ER until 11am
Took a shower
Did nothing
Went to Carlos O' Kellys with Dad and Brice (which was fun)
Did nothing
Did random things on the internet
Brice came in and gave me the "I'm a moron for not reading my 1/2 way done Potter book" speech. He made me sit on my bed and he put the book in my hands and told me I had to read. I read 40 pages! (this is my least sluggy activity of the day)
Did nothing
Watched Gilmore
Watched 7th Heaven
Ate suppper
Procrastinated cleaning my room
Yep that's it.
Soon I am going to Gavin's b-ball game at Century, so I actually be moving and leaving the house. wow.
Bye,
Love, the slug.

Back in the hizzle fo shizzle.
Hello friends...
I thought I'd tell you about the Culver's Christmas party tonight. It was pretty sweet. It was once again at the Willow Creek Golf Course, were our wedding reception shall be. Dinner was yummy and we played games and such. Chris won be a big cozy Culver's sweatshirt with his raffle ticket and I won a hat! Both of which I am wearing in the picture below. I also got a $25 gift card to Target! How fun. Our owner gives that to everyone. The highlight was seeing Chris in the Culver's rap contest. He's been working this week on a rap about Culver's and he came up with something quite impressive if I do say so myself. He performed it with another guy to do the chorus and a few words here and there with Chris. He did such a great job. It was so cool to see him up there doing his thang, he's such a natural in front of the peeps. A dude from the South store did pretty well too and the judges decided to give him first place, but Chris got second and won a free hooded sweatshirt which is pretty cool. Chris, you got first in my heart : ) Cuz you my baby and you did real good, whoot whoot. You guys should hear his rap, it's fun-nee.
Now I am preparing for bed. I wish I would go to bed early like a normal human, but I won't. I have to get up at like 9:45, cuz Brice and I are going to go get Gavin from Century and take him out for lunch. Than later I'm meeting with another photographer! I hope everyone's having a good week.
Love, Brianna M. Hemmer
Me In My New Attire (the sweatshirt is a men's XL, haha)

Dentist tools = Cruel and Unusual Punishment
Saturday:
I went to the Bridal Extravaganza with Mom and aunt Susan. It was lots of fun. We just walked around and looked at everything and I put my name in lots of boxes. Wish me luck on winning the honeymoon!!! I sampled lots of cakes, watched a fashion show, and got info. on lots of things. Later that day Kelsey, Jeff, Chris, and I went to Olive Garden and then came to my house and watched Brad Stein. It was much fun and I loled a lot, heehee. Then I went bowling with Heather and Casey which was also lots of fun. I got in the 100s both times, which is quite the accomplishment for me. I saw Elizabeth and Greg there, whom I haven't seen in at least a year, so that was very exciting. Later we went to Perkins and had shakes, yum yum. What a fun day!
Sunday:
I can't remember what I did...I think I just hung out at the mall with Gavin after we ate there. Than the two of us came home and jammed on the piano and drums, fun fun, he's so talanted. Then Chris came a little later and we went to Chipolte and Wally. I got a fun organizer so I can put all my new info. in something in an organized manner. Later, my whole family, plus Chris and Jenny watched Madagascar, which I got from Chris this Christmas. Some peeps, like Dad and Chris took naps during it.
Monday:
Today I woke up very early to go to the dentist. I never hated the dentist until a few years ago, I'm not really sure why, I used to like it, now I would rather die.
Dental Lady: "Let me just scape your teeth to death with this metal hook like tool. Don't worry, it's okay for all the enamel to get ripped off your teeth and the digging into your gums with only hurt for a few days."
Me: "I want to bite her finger, I wonder what she'd do if I did? Seriously, is this necessary, can we just skip this part, ugh, torture."
Dental Lady: "Ok, lemme just scrape this one tooth 100 times in a row, digging harder with each scrape."
Me: "Singing church songs in my head and trying to go to a happy place"
Dental Lady: "Ok now I will "polish" your teeth with my spinning rubberish tool."
Me: "Oh yes, I love the feeling of this sick grainy toothpaste getting forced inbetween my teeth. I also love the roof of my mouth and my lips being tickled in a very uncomfortable way by the spinner thing."
Dental Lady: "I like to make sure the spinning thing covers each tooth 300 times!!"
Me: "Shoot me please."
Dentist comes in: "Hmm...let me re-scrape your teeth in case the dental lady didn't get it all, yep, I'll keep doing it. It works best if I make sure to dig it into your gums."
Me: "One more second of this and I'm gonna lose it, I will stand right up off this chair and leave!"
Ok, after my experience of death (I also got a tooth re-filled cuz it fell out from my root canal a few years ago) I went and got pop to reward myself for all the torture.
At 1:00, mom and I met with a photographer, that went well. Chris and Brice met us for lunch at A-bees. Mom and I went to Target and I got a new purse and wallet, yay! Mine old ones had broken zippers, so it 's fun to have new ones. I was supposed to work from 5-10, but they had me go at 8, so here I am! I should really change outta my grease clothes. hehehe.
It's looking like I dont' have class now until Friday, although WSU classes start on Thursday. Also, my first class on Friday (8-10) doesn't start until next week, so all I have is a 2 hour class and I'm done for the weekend!! Haha. I think I will think of it as I'm starting school on Monday, but I just have to go for a quick two hour class on Friday. : )
I burnt my tounge tonight on soup, I had no idea soup was hot and the cup didn't say so, therefore I will sue Culver's, it's only logical.
Welp, I think I am updated now. Enjoy!
Also, my comment number is a little low lately, come on people! Show the love.

My First Blog of 2006!!!
WHOA, A NEW BLOG!
Heehee, I dunno where to start! The flowers you've been seeing on my blog since the 21st are actually not looking totally dead yet, they were super flowers, like superman, only flowers.
I know I've been having a wonderful wonderful break. I love being home with my family in my house in my own bedroom. I love seeing my parents everyday, my brothers everyday, my fiance everyday, and my friends as well.
I've been working at Culver's a few days a week, but other than that I am free! I like it and I don't want it to end!
Christmas was wonderful as always. It went too fast though. We all went to Gran. H's on Christmas Eve and Chris came for the first time. Dinner was lovely, we watched part of The Christmas story, and opened presents. The highlight for me was that I finally beat Ryan (my cousin) in our present opening competition. For years we have competed to see who can be the most patient and save his or her last present the longest. I lose every year because Ryan has an endless amount of patience and I just have to open mine. This year I had a plan, I gave Brice one of my presents right away and he hid it. Then, hours later, after I put on a show of, "Oh Ryan, you won again, I can never beat you!" Brice pulled out the present and I made sure everyone knew I had it. Ryan actually bowed to me! Hahah, it was great. I'll never win again, cuz now he'll have a back-up plan, but one year's good enough for me.
Christmas morning was so fun, it's my favortie part of Christmas, just sitting in the living room with my family, watching everyone open their presents. Then we go look at our stockings and mom makes egg bake. It was sad, because it was my last year waking up with my brothers then jumping on Mom and Dad's bed to wake them up. I have an awesome family! Mom and Dad tell Chris and I that we should sleep over here next Christmas Eve and than we can be here for Christmas morining, heehee. Next, Chris came and he and I exchanged presents. He got me a beautiful pearl ring, that I wanted, but didn't even tell him about. He had it sewn on a stuffed snowman's hand, it was very cute. He also went and got baby pictures of him from his aunt's house, which I really wanted, and he framed them for me :) He also got me the DVD Madagascar. Yippee!!! Later we went to Gran. E's. It was so so fun as always. The highlight was everyone opening the pajama pants that Gran made us, even Chris! She's so awesome!
Next we visited Chris' aunt and then we headed out to Austin to see Chris' family. That was fun as well. Chris and his sisters got into a wrestling match and it was quite amusing, heehee.
It was an awesome Christmas and I got lots of cool stuff like a lil' radio that straps on my arm for working outthat I can also put 100 songs onto, a DVD player and tons of DVDS, two cds, some clothes, a Harry Potter poster from Gavin which is very cool, a game, a book, a few Willow Tree figures, a leather jacket, and lots more, all of which I love.
New Year's was cool. Chris and I went out to eat and to a movie, then hung out with the other Hemmer's and were here at home with my family for midnight! Whoo hoo.
The next day, Chris' family came to our house, so our families could finally meet! I was so glad they made it! We had supper and then played Cranium that Mom and Dad got us kids for Christmas. It was so fun and everyone laughed a lot. I'm so glad everyone felt so comfortable!
I've gotten some things done with the wedding now. I've officially asked everyone on my side to be in the wedding. Here is my official list of people:
Maid of Honor: Cara Dietzman
Bridesmaids: Megan Erickson, Kellie Hemmer, and Heather Tlougan
Jr. Bridesmaid: Laura Lewis
My personal attendants: Kelsey Gordon and Jillian Hemmer
Flower girl: Jensen Luehrs
We also asked Brice and Gavin to be groomsmen and they agreed, yay!
It was fun to ask everyone, it was very amusing to ask my three year old cousin to be the flowergirl. She came up with several excuses as to why she could not be my flowergirl. She first said that she would be sick with a cold, then that she'd have to stay home and take care of her babies, and then that she'd have to stay home and clean, vacuum, and dust. Wow, what a cutie she was. I explained to her that she'd get to wear a princess dress and have flowers. She eventually agreed and ran out to ask her dad if it was ok. He agreed, of course. I wish I had the whole thing on tape. The way she was so serious about how she had to dust and vacuum insted of coming to my wedding was so funny.
Also, I am very excited to announce that I have my dress! Mom and I went to David's Bridal on Tuesday and after four hours, a very helpful assistant, and Mom's helping me choose things, I got a dress and a few other things. It was fun to shop for a dress with my mama, I wouldn't have it any other way, even though it made her cry once! I got the dress that made her cry, heehee. Love you mommy.
It's funny sometimes, when you come out with a differnt dress on all the other customers in the store like to stare and oooo and ahhhh at the dress. Heehee. It was lots of fun.
Today mom and I hung out. We went to the mall and then came home and lounged out while watching Oprah. We had yummy meatloaf for supper. Later I went to Cheaper by the Dozen with Heather and Kelsey. I have also seen Narnia and Family Stone over break, both very good.
I know there's a hundred more things to say, but this will get even longer. I'll include some pictures next from break so far.
Love ya all.
Love, Brianna
Chris, Laura, Gavin, and I trying to figure out the answer during Cranium.
My future sister-in-laws and mother-in-law!
The Hemmer Side
The Erickson Side (which includes Luehrs' and Hemmer's)
Megan bought all of us girls scarves from London! Thanks Cuzzzin!
My momma and I, with our new rings :)
Me with my baby brothers on Christmas!
Chris and I in the flying pigs jammies from Gran. E.!
PS: I also got an addition to my pig collection. My aunt Cindy has a booth in the mall called Crystal Notion. She sells those crytals with the images inside them. Rick and Cindy ordered me one with a pig inside it with a stand it sits on with colored lights. It's gorgeous and I shall cherish it for life :)
Heehee, I dunno where to start! The flowers you've been seeing on my blog since the 21st are actually not looking totally dead yet, they were super flowers, like superman, only flowers.

Megan bought all of us girls scarves from London! Thanks Cuzzzin!
My momma and I, with our new rings :)
Me with my baby brothers on Christmas!
Chris and I in the flying pigs jammies from Gran. E.!
PS: I also got an addition to my pig collection. My aunt Cindy has a booth in the mall called Crystal Notion. She sells those crytals with the images inside them. Rick and Cindy ordered me one with a pig inside it with a stand it sits on with colored lights. It's gorgeous and I shall cherish it for life :)
