WHOA, A NEW BLOG!
Heehee, I dunno where to start! The flowers you've been seeing on my blog since the 21st are actually not looking totally dead yet, they were super flowers, like superman, only flowers.
I know I've been having a wonderful wonderful break. I love being home with my family in my house in my own bedroom. I love seeing my parents everyday, my brothers everyday, my fiance everyday, and my friends as well.
I've been working at Culver's a few days a week, but other than that I am free! I like it and I don't want it to end!
Christmas was wonderful as always. It went too fast though. We all went to Gran. H's on Christmas Eve and Chris came for the first time. Dinner was lovely, we watched part of The Christmas story, and opened presents. The highlight for me was that I finally beat Ryan (my cousin) in our present opening competition. For years we have competed to see who can be the most patient and save his or her last present the longest. I lose every year because Ryan has an endless amount of patience and I just have to open mine. This year I had a plan, I gave Brice one of my presents right away and he hid it. Then, hours later, after I put on a show of, "Oh Ryan, you won again, I can never beat you!" Brice pulled out the present and I made sure everyone knew I had it. Ryan actually bowed to me! Hahah, it was great. I'll never win again, cuz now he'll have a back-up plan, but one year's good enough for me.
Christmas morning was so fun, it's my favortie part of Christmas, just sitting in the living room with my family, watching everyone open their presents. Then we go look at our stockings and mom makes egg bake. It was sad, because it was my last year waking up with my brothers then jumping on Mom and Dad's bed to wake them up. I have an awesome family! Mom and Dad tell Chris and I that we should sleep over here next Christmas Eve and than we can be here for Christmas morining, heehee. Next, Chris came and he and I exchanged presents. He got me a beautiful pearl ring, that I wanted, but didn't even tell him about. He had it sewn on a stuffed snowman's hand, it was very cute. He also went and got baby pictures of him from his aunt's house, which I really wanted, and he framed them for me :) He also got me the DVD Madagascar. Yippee!!! Later we went to Gran. E's. It was so so fun as always. The highlight was everyone opening the pajama pants that Gran made us, even Chris! She's so awesome!
Next we visited Chris' aunt and then we headed out to Austin to see Chris' family. That was fun as well. Chris and his sisters got into a wrestling match and it was quite amusing, heehee.
It was an awesome Christmas and I got lots of cool stuff like a lil' radio that straps on my arm for working outthat I can also put 100 songs onto, a DVD player and tons of DVDS, two cds, some clothes, a Harry Potter poster from Gavin which is very cool, a game, a book, a few Willow Tree figures, a leather jacket, and lots more, all of which I love.
New Year's was cool. Chris and I went out to eat and to a movie, then hung out with the other Hemmer's and were here at home with my family for midnight! Whoo hoo.
The next day, Chris' family came to our house, so our families could finally meet! I was so glad they made it! We had supper and then played Cranium that Mom and Dad got us kids for Christmas. It was so fun and everyone laughed a lot. I'm so glad everyone felt so comfortable!
I've gotten some things done with the wedding now. I've officially asked everyone on my side to be in the wedding. Here is my official list of people:
Maid of Honor: Cara Dietzman
Bridesmaids: Megan Erickson, Kellie Hemmer, and Heather Tlougan
Jr. Bridesmaid: Laura Lewis
My personal attendants: Kelsey Gordon and Jillian Hemmer
Flower girl: Jensen Luehrs
We also asked Brice and Gavin to be groomsmen and they agreed, yay!
It was fun to ask everyone, it was very amusing to ask my three year old cousin to be the flowergirl. She came up with several excuses as to why she could not be my flowergirl. She first said that she would be sick with a cold, then that she'd have to stay home and take care of her babies, and then that she'd have to stay home and clean, vacuum, and dust. Wow, what a cutie she was. I explained to her that she'd get to wear a princess dress and have flowers. She eventually agreed and ran out to ask her dad if it was ok. He agreed, of course. I wish I had the whole thing on tape. The way she was so serious about how she had to dust and vacuum insted of coming to my wedding was so funny.
Also, I am very excited to announce that I have my dress! Mom and I went to David's Bridal on Tuesday and after four hours, a very helpful assistant, and Mom's helping me choose things, I got a dress and a few other things. It was fun to shop for a dress with my mama, I wouldn't have it any other way, even though it made her cry once! I got the dress that made her cry, heehee. Love you mommy.
It's funny sometimes, when you come out with a differnt dress on all the other customers in the store like to stare and oooo and ahhhh at the dress. Heehee. It was lots of fun.
Today mom and I hung out. We went to the mall and then came home and lounged out while watching Oprah. We had yummy meatloaf for supper. Later I went to Cheaper by the Dozen with Heather and Kelsey. I have also seen Narnia and Family Stone over break, both very good.
I know there's a hundred more things to say, but this will get even longer. I'll include some pictures next from break so far.
Love ya all.
Love, Brianna

Megan bought all of us girls scarves from London! Thanks Cuzzzin!
My momma and I, with our new rings :)
Me with my baby brothers on Christmas!
Chris and I in the flying pigs jammies from Gran. E.!
PS: I also got an addition to my pig collection. My aunt Cindy has a booth in the mall called Crystal Notion. She sells those crytals with the images inside them. Rick and Cindy ordered me one with a pig inside it with a stand it sits on with colored lights. It's gorgeous and I shall cherish it for life :)

Wow Brianna...that's quite an update. I had fun reading...now I better get back to work.
HAHA...we used to do the whole gift thing too. I did it for like 4 years before my youngest brother decided he wanted to do it. Now i don't do it, but he does. And we all know that there are gifts hidden. I guess some traditions are too hard to pass up! Glad that you finally found a dress...

Brie you should write a book. You have such an exciting lift compared to an old granny that sits and counts her breaths to make sure she is still alive.
The flying pig pj picture is really cute. hehe See you soon my friend/roomie/bathroom sharer. :-)
