Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
"For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,"
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Isaiah 54:10
Thank you Lord for your constant presense in my life and your spoken word promising to never leave me alone. I would be such a wreck without you, thank you for the joy you give that can never go away.

Hello Friends
I would just like to inform you all that I am going to Pine Haven tomorrow! Yay! I love that place and I only get to be there once a year, so I'm excited. I'm not excited that Gavin's not coming and I'll miss the people here, like my fiance for instance.....but I'm still excited. It's cool that Chris is staying here with Gavin, that makes me feel better. Tonight Chris, Heather, Casey, and I went to Culver's for custard and then bowling! I was terrible and my goal my to beat Chris, but I never did, he's just too gifted. Although, Heather tied him once, go HUT. Well, I have enjoyed my week off from Sunrise, athough they called me today to see if I'd come into work, jeesh, I think not! I helped mama clean today and such and went to the mall with Chris to look at clothes, he got quite the deal on shirts and some undergarnments which we shall not speak of! heehee, jk. Well, I spose I should finish packin' up my stuff so I don't have to do it at 6am! Oh I forgot to mention that we went dress shopping yesterday with Kelsey and all the other girls in the wedding and we picked out dresses from David's Briday! They're really pretty and we had lots of fun :) You can look at pictures on Kelsey's blog: http://crazyaprildream.blogspot.com/
Hopefully she won't sue me for putting her address on here! Ok, see ya alls later!
Love, Brianna

Monday August 15th, Two thousand and five
Yeh I'm running out of titles.
Well, it's been great. I have the old summer feeling back of freedom and late nights and late mornings. Well, my nights haven't been too late. I'm not as good as staying up late as I was in the beginning of the summer, but I'm getting used to it again. Today Mom and I went to look at another reception place, so far the Willow Creek golf course is still the winner, I like ittt!!!!!
We ate at Brother's and it was wonderful then we picked up Gavin and three other boys from their first Century football practice, how did Gavin get that old, I don't know.....I used to change his diapers.........."Oh how the years go by......." (sing aloud)
Then we came home and eventually Cara came over and I haven't seen her since May!! She spent the summer in the Dominican Republic as a leader for Time Ministries. It's good to have her back for a week before she leaves for Bethel. We hung out with Chris a little here and then her and I went to her house and made cookies for the little shin dig they're having tomorrrow, well actually it's today now. Then we looked at her DR pictures and movies and went in the pool and hot tub!!! funness.
Now I am here and and everyone's asleep! I don't like it! I like to say goodnight to everyone before they go to bed, but it's about 1am, I guess I can't expect they'd be up!
Well, I think I'll just keep this short.......so goodnight to everyone! Oh, and if you did not get an email from me for some reason...my new email is: bmhemmer1494@winona.edu
K, bye friends

Free free free
Hello and good morning. Today is Saturday and it's very nice because I am home and not at work. I had my last day of work yesterday at Sunrise. I plan to work Christmas break, but I am done for quite a while. So, now I get a whole week off at home and then a week at Pine Haven, then do to school. yikes! It comes so fast. My teachers are already sending me things to study up on for the first day of school, argh. My last day of work was weird. I was asked by the head lady to go to another cottage and teach the girl there how to clean and make beds since apparently I'm the best bed maker alive, YES!!!! My life's work is complete!!!! So, I did that and it was all good. Then I got to come back to my cottage and finish my summer out with my guys in cottage 8. It was lovely and I will miss them and wonder how they're doing.
Last night was really fun. Keith, Chris' very good friend since forever, also the "best man" came over to my house and he, Chris, Gavin and I played volleyball forever, like 8 games, it was a lot of fun though and I am sore now! Very pathetic I know, but it was a workout. My dad mowed a volleyball court out there in the grass so it's easier to tell where the boundaries are, heehee. Then we went to Taco Bell and watched the 2nd Brad Stine DVD, funny funny. Then the guys left to go rent PS2 games, heehee. So I went to bed, slept till 9:30, had corn pops, and here I am.
Today Mom and I are going to the Willow Creek Golf Course to check out the reception decorations there today to see what it looks like since we're considering having our reception there. I had a dream last night that I was at my reception and it wasn't fun. Some how I got all wet and my hair got all nasty and no one was there. My dreams are always bad though, so I'm used to it :) They ususally have to do with death and destruction, not happiness.
Well....I guess I'm outta things to say, have a good day and don't forget to smell the flowers.

I never ate glue...but I'm still "special"
I'm even tired of seeing the same blog entry on my own blog. I have all my blogs in my "favorites" and I just click through them to look at everyones blogs. I also have mine in the list for some reason and I seem to feel the need to check it and see if I updated. I'm usually diappointed, so I thought I would do myself a favor and update.
My fam. and I got to hang out all 5 of us together tonight which I really like doing. We went to Denny's which was actually quite good. Then we went and bought the new Brad Stine DVD and watched it and laughed our heads off, at least I laughed mine off. Brad Stine is a Christian comedian and I can honestly say that I have never laughed harder than I have at the stuff he says. I highly recommend him to anyone who likes to laugh a little or a lot.
Oh let's see, what else...we've been playing a lot of volleyball. Chris and I went and bought a volleyball and Pa set up the net for us which is in the back yard. It's so much fun. It's usually Chris, Dad, Gavin, and I, but there's the occasional Brice and there's been Mom, Jenny, Kelsey, Jeff, and Stacy too, sorry if I'm missing someone. But we get all into it and it's fun. Thanks Mom for letting us ruin the middle of the yard :(
I have approx. 2-3 days left of working at Sunrise. I'm excited mostly, but a little sad too, just like when anything ends. I'll miss my people, I'll wonder how they're doing, and hope someone else takes good care of them! Today I was in another part of the cottage I work in and let me tell you, this group of 7 is much more difficult then my 6 guys. My guys are up and ready to eat when I get there, they enjoy eating, as do most humans. However, the people in my area today each require a 30 minute persuasive/motivational speech given by myself in order to simply get out of bed.
Example:
"Hi Martha, goodmorning....I have breakfast all ready for you!"
"I......don't.....think......I can................yesterday, not enough time, and the...cheese, tired......."
"Okay Martha, I know it's early, but it's good to eat breakfast before lunch comes and I have it all ready and you can just come out and I'll help you down there and it'll be great and you'll get to eat and you'll love it and I'll buy you a pony and give you a milllion dollars if YOU JUST COME EAT"!!!!!
"Well....I don't think.....I'm not hungry"
"Okay, well how about just a little piece of toast...what do you like on your toast, I can make it for you!"
"No, no I couldn't possibly, no, I just couldn't, (facial expression changes from dislike to intense fear) NO! NOT BREAKFAST, NO!!!! YOU ARE MAKING ME EAT AND I DON'T WANT TOOOOOOOOOOO! I WILL SIMPLY SELF DESTRUCT IF TOAST ENTERS MY BODY!!! WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO HURT ME!!!"
"Okay Martha, if you don't want breakfast, that's ok, but if you change your mind later I can help you."
"Help me with what?"
"I can help you with breakfast later if you want it then"
"I want it now, WHY WON'T YOU LET ME EAT??? YOU'RE TRYING TO STARVE ME HERE!!!! I KNOW IT!!!!"
"Okay (exasperation............) let's go out to the kitchen and have some breakfast"
"Okay, I love breakfast (big smile)"
Well...ok, that's an exaggeration, but seriously, today, that was not far from the truth. I'm nice though, and very patient. I just think it's interesting how everyone so strongly fights and tries to avoid basic human activities as if they are the plague (i.e. eating, showers, clipping nails) But, I love them all anyway. Let's just say breakfast with the guys takes about 15 minutes. Getting everyone breakfast today.....3 HOURS, yes it's true. But I guess them time flew by. Also, today one of the ladies went and told the lead care manager that I wouldn't let her get her hair done! heehee, we loled. Yes, it's true Martha, I told you that you can never get your hair done, it's true, I am out to get you, MUAHHA, when in reality you never even brought up the subject of hair with me, but whatev. Also today I was going to check on, let's call him Joe, and he was putting fixadent (denture glue stuff) on his comb, kinda in the same fashion as toothpaste on a toothbrush. I tried to help him realize this was not something he should be putting in his hair. If looks could kill, I'd be dead, so I let him be......sometimes ya gotta let them do their thing, even if it means something else for you to clean up later :) heehee. Oh I've had a good summer working with them though. I've learned a lot and can take a lot of what I've learned with me. I hated the hours, but I guess got more out of my days by getting up at 6.
A couple nights ago I went out to Carlos O' Kellys with my friend Brita and then we hung around at Target and tried on shoes and things like that, it was mucho funno. I also went out to eat with Susan and Denny (aunt and uncle) who took Chris and I out to China Dynasty! Yummy! And how nice of them :) Chris and I went to War of the Worlds.....I liked it, it was cool, but Chris thinks it's "unrealistic" therefore he cannot like it, heehee, I just like to give him a hard time about this....unrealistic....hmmmmm, one word for ya...WRESTLING, hmm. Heehee, just kidding friend. He did say eventually that he liked it, but not loved it.
In terms of wedding planning, we've established our date and talked to our pastor Aaron, it's October 21st, 2006, yayayay, and we've looked at a bunch of places for a reception. So yeh, not a huge amount of things done, but we've got time. Oh, and we made a 1st draft guestlist. You know what that means people?? It means we haven't cut anyone yet. So, if you don't wanna be cut, you better start making yourself very very likable, for example, donate us money, buy us presents, make us a gourmet meal, something like that, be creative.
Okay dokey, I think I'll do something people do when they're tired, it's called sleep. Have you ever thought hard about sleep, it's weird. Weird I tell ya, but I like it. I also like the soft chocolate chip cookies Brice and Gavin bought today, as evidenced by a weight gain of 10 pounds in one day. YES! Wouldn't it be fun if instead of trying to loose weight, we just all tried to gain it. Like the goal is to eat all day and eat anything you want and the person who gains the most weight wins. Mmm, nevermind, we might start some kind of epidemic, like diabetes II or something, sarcasm, sarcasm. Ooooooooooofffffffffdah, someone pass the lefsa, cuz I need some sleep! (MMM.....paper, right cuzzin Meggie Lou?)
Please disregard the last paragraph (wow, okay it took me like five tries to type paragraph, I tried paragragh, no....., paragraf, no......paragraght, hmmmm)
Ok, bye friends and family, I love you all.
