Hallo, how are you, I am fine thanks. Ok, things are better than I last time I wrote. The weekend was still hard with the paper writing and such, but a nice break form non stop studying. Now it's on to the 500 projects due all at the same time it seems. All I have to do after I get done working here in a bit is go turn my paper in and then do nothing all night! I love it. Then I'm going home tomorrow and staying till Sunday. I have to do homework and such, but it'll be nice to be home and eat turkey and mashed potatoes. We might go to a movie tonight for the heck of it...that's me and the roomies...whom by the way are very cool. Last night Kelsey came in our room and we were all weird and jumping around. Why do we get hyper when we're going to bed. Heather and I stayed up for a while as we usually do when we go to bed at the same time, fun fun, sad.....no roomie next year. We'll learn morse code to talk through the walls. Mom and Pa and Gav came on Friday!! We went the the Family Diner, it was yummmy, and my five day headache went away that night and it hasnt come back. Thanks fam.! Kelsey I spent the weekend studying and eating Quiznos/Subway (YUM) it just doesn't get old. We also rented Mean Girls, it's funny. Last night I talked to a long lost friend :) and watched part of a movie and did math. Goodbye to the worst week of my life and this one is already way better. OOooofffffdahh. Also, Megan.....tear....no lefse this year.....the sadness....Yum, I haven't had paper since Christmas!!!! Well, I think I shall go since I'm almost OUTTA HERE! yay. No one asked me questions today at work! So I didn't have to thinkg! Fun, although one girl asked me what grade I got in the class and then everyone's heads like flew over to me as if they were jsut dying to know...I hate telling people my grades! jeesh. Have you ever felt like you're sick even though physiology wise you are not? Well that's how I feel. Like I don't have the flu or even a cold, but that's kinda how it feels. I think it's just like a true state of exhustion. This is a depressing blog I think, but it's my life so you get to read it. Wow, I just think that the nursing program is crazy, I have never been pushed so hard in my entire life, I wonder if it is even possible to get everything done that I need to get done. I try not to get stressed out because I try to take eveything in stride ya know, but when everything comes at you at once and you have to plan out everything by the minute it gets to crazy! It's hard to get through when you know you don't get a break until Christmas break which is like four weeks away or something. Whew. Deep breath. I am so excited for that though, this semester is going pretty fast I must say. I still kinda feel like I don't know anything but I think I'm doing ok overall with classes. I just scheduled for next semester and I won't have any Tuesday classes, fun huh. Although I forsee that day being a sleep in till noon kinda day. heehee. I also am trying to get into a class where we watch a bunch of movies about people with physical and psyciatric problems like Forrest Gump and stuff like that and write about them, it looks the most fun outta the choices I have anyway. Clinical this week was pretty good. I worked with a man this time and he was really sweet and kinda goofy, so it was fun. He didn't need a whole lot of things done, but the day went fast somehow anyway. That night we got back at about 10:00pm and I stayed up till 5 am studying for the patho. test the day!!!! It worked out though. God gave me energy to stay up thankfully. I think I did good on it, but I am paying for the sleep deprivation. Someday it'll be worth it I think and I'll be able to sleep normally. Last night was weird cuz Heather was home for the night to see her brother 's band concert (GO CMP!) so I was all alone in my room, it's weird and also bad cuz then I just watch tv and stay up way unnecessarily late...did I spell that right? But last night was also nice cuz it was just me and Kels for a while and we don't get to talk much anymore, so she came with me and got groceries and then actually paid for them because I realized I had no checks, thanks Kels, how nice of you to buy them for me, expecting nothing in return, just kiddin'.....Then we went to Culver's and it was yummy cuz they had broccoli cheese, which is a fav. even though it need more broccoli in it. Then Casey came back from hanging out with the little girl she is in a prgram with called big/little sister. You can tell the little girl loves being with Casey! I know this is getting long, so I'm sure Brita's getting all mad...hehehhee jk. But too bad, I hardly ever write, so when I do it gets long. Plus, I know that I will not be able to concentrate on reading my text book for my next class so I'm just gonna have to go unprepared and I'm at work, so there's nothing else to do but play on the computer. Lately at work people have actaully been asking for help, so for the first time I actually feel like I'm doing my job as a tutor, and I've been able to help people so that's fun. No one is ever here right now usually, so I got the place to myself. Tonight I am starting my wonderful paper about probably some ICU unit and then I am putting jammies on and watching ER, and it's a new one! Then I am being lazy all night before my long weekend of paper researching/writing in some crazy A-somthing or other format I've never heard of...what happened to MLA? I know that one! Jeesh. I should buy icecream...phish food, yummy. I shoudln't, but I probably will. I wanna say HI to my cuzzin Megan cuz I miss her and I hope you're doing ok and I love ya! Also, Jamey, if you read this, your website is very cool....oh my cuzzin Jamey made his first webpage 100% by himself for the target webpage, how cool is that? And "hi" to everyone else who reads my blogs. I hope I see ya all soon. I'll be home for thanksgiving if I make it until then...................

This is for you Megan

Ok, so, My cousin Megan is harrasing me to write in this because she is bored with my lack of updates, but here the thing, I have nothing great to say so this will only increase her boredom, but I'll do it anyway. I am supposed to be writing SOAP notes right now, which have to do with nursing, which I absolutely despise because I usually despise doing things that I do not understand how to do, so I feel like I am crapping my way through it, yet somehow I manganed to do well on the last one which just made me laugh. Well since the last time I wrote I went to the Women of Faith conference in St. Paul, this was two weekends ago. It was absolutley wonderful and I am so glad I went. There were 18,000 women, wow. The speakers were all amazing, the singers were all amazing, and most amazing was God's prescence there. I am so going next year. Then this past weekend was also awesome. My cousin's Kellie, Jill and I decided to be adventurous and go to a concert in St. Paul. I decided many moons ago that I needed to go to the Relient K concert (christian punk/pop) so eventually Kellie and Jilll decided they could come with me, yay. I ordered tickets and figured out how to get there----due to directional wisdom from my big cousin Jamey. We never really got lost in a serious way so it was all good. We got there with time to spare and even got close parking. We stood for like 4 hours in there but it was so fun. I most liked other people's hair in my face and random sweaty boys jumping into us, but hey, it was all fun. The first two bands were deece, but Relient K was soooo awesome, mmm I love em. Then we drove back and Jill kept me awake by talkig to me while Kellie slacked off and slept in the back.....is this getting too detailed...hmm..oh well. Then we came back here and watched part of a movie and went to church in Winona the next morning. In between all of that during these past two weeks I have been doing homework and stuyding. However....like two nights ago, on a school night, I actually watched a movie, this is a first for me. It was way fun. My clinical was super fun yesterday, my patient and I had lots of fun, maybe too much, but we were sneaky and walked further than we were supposed to get cookies from the nursing home wing, heehee, oh well. I also legally can give some meds now, so I did that....they make you check three times to make sure it's right plus you have to check their name band, I started to feel quite stupid doing this since I only had one patient, it's like okkkk let's check for the 100th time to make sure you are who you were 5 minutes ago when I checked. Hmmm..... I also dropped a pill and then we had to call pharmacy to get more, MY BA'AD. OOOPssssiessss. So yeh, that was a good clinical day for once, she gave me cupcakes too. OK, I must go write my notes and get ready for labs tomorrow...eeee...muscles shots, yikes. I'll see ya all soon I hope if I dont' die from exhaustion first, this is such a killer. I'm hoping to go to bed and wake up 25 yrs old. BYE!
