Well, I just got back from my 5 day vacation at my favorite place on earth: Pine Haven Christian Assembly. I went there as a camper from 4th through 11th grade every summer. However, our church also gets to spend a week at PHCA every summer during a week when there is no scheduled camp. I was lucky enough to be able to get a few days off this week to go up to camp with my parents and the rest of the crew that has been going up on this week ever since I can remember.
Oh my goodness, it was so much fun. The days fly by. We swam, skiied, kayaked, worked on wedding invitations, went into town (Park Rapids), and just hung outside in the beautiful weather by the beautiful lake (Long lake). I love the feeling of being at camp. I think anyone who went there as a camper or who has spent time there has the same feeling. There's no place like it and I'm sad to not still be there.
The only bummer was that Chris still hasn't been able to come see my camp! Maybe next year!
This year a few new people came, like Jill's cool friend Maggie, and then there were the people that always come, yip yip. But, none of my cousins/brothers came except Jill! They all had school/work/sports, blah!
